Bio

Chartered Research Psychologist working as a) Associate Professor in Evidence-Based Child and Adolescent Mental Health (University College London), b) Head of Digital Development & Evaluation (Anna Freud Centre), c) Deputy Director (Evidence Based Practice Unit), and d) Co-Research Lead (Child Outcomes Research Consortium). My research focuses on empowering young people to actively manage their mental health and mental health care, with a particular focus on social inequalities. Quantitative, qualitative and mixed-methods research skills, including use of STATA, SPSS, and NVivo. Experience in health, applied and NHS research studies, covering health psychology, clinical psychology, social psychology and promoting and evaluating the impact of research. Previously worked at the Institute of Psychiatry King’s College, the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service and the NIHR Research Design Service South East.
