As Executive Director of the Green Digital Finance Alliance (Swiss based not-for-profit established by UNEP and Ant Group at WEF 2017) I convene a global network of experts and partners to co-develop and implement thought leadership, tools, frameworks and pilots under our Demonstrator Lab. I lead and advise on collaborative and open innovation focusing on digital and emerging technologies for Climate, Biodiversity, Natural Capital and SDGs. I co-lead Climate Chain Coalition Climate Finance Lab and the UNFCCC Global Innovation Hub Cities Working Group and Pilots and serve on a number of committees and boards including EIT Food, Capitals Coalition Value Commission, MENA SFA, EMSA FISC and EU Blockchain Observatory. My career spans 30+ years of deep and diverse global experience from my first job with the Ontario Forest Fire Center to my early career as the Canadian Diplomat serving as the Climate and Multilateral Environment Representative at the Canadian Embassy in Washington DC and on Human Security in the early 2000s and then later as Innovation Lead for EU EIT Climate-KIC. I have implemented and scaled key initiatives focusing on systems innovation and served as an as advisor to accelerators, initiatives and startups (Ashoka, UK NESTA, UNDP Accelerate2030, Innovate4Climate and Climathon). I dove deep into emerging tech for climate and SDGS including the World Bank (Carbon Markets), BLOC Maritime Labs (winning MIT Solve 2018), Digital Economist, Open Earth Foundation, Everycity, and Blockchain Triangle, GDFA and the UN Task Force on Digital Financing of the SDGs. 🇨🇦 Canadian 🇨🇭 Swiss
