Ken Pilot has over 30 years of retail, C-level operating experience at Gap, J.Crew, Ralph Lauren, American Eagle and ABC Carpet & Home. Ken served as a board member to the Lenox Corp (leader in the table top space) and to Alternative Apparel. Ken actively invests in technology that supports retail and brand growth focusing on early stage solutions that address online, stores and operations. He takes on an active role with each investment supporting the founder/team as an operating partner. Ken’s retail operating experience combined with his knowledge of technology provide strong guidance at the board level as well as with companies that he advises. Ken is currently working with the following platforms: PredictSpring (modern, global POS), Firework (enabling livestream shoppable video within an e-commerce site), Fabric(Headless e-commerce solution) DeepNorth (video captured Traffic analytics), Lily AI (improving online search by automating the attribute tagging process with up to 30 meta tags per item), ReUPP (Providing brands easy entry to the circular economy through a frictionless return and credit solution), Matterport (creates 3D virtual space experience lending itself to e-commerce and better store management), BackbonePLM (cloud based data integration of design and production of product), Radar (RFID that provides a continual inventory update without wanting product), Inturn (simplifying the liquidation of excess inventory by opening up access to many buyers on a real time platform). CrosStar Network Solutions (Provides data/telecom services at best pricing leveraging its network of over 200 international providers). Crosswalk Ventures (creating real time customer feedback online and in-store). At present, Ken is advising Teak + Table, a leading DTC outdoor furniture brand. Previous clients include, Harbour Outdoor, Lenox, Calvin Klein, Kassatex, Burrow and Alternative Apparel. Ken is also an investor/advisor to Burrow, Koio he holds a real estate associates license with KSR.
