At Microsoft, our mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. For nearly three decades, I’ve had the joy and privilege of learning and growing as a member of Microsoft’s HR team. As Head of Global Talent Acquisition at Microsoft, it is my goal to engage, attract and develop global, innovative, and diverse talent that can meet today’s business needs and innovate to change the world in the future. Beyond my day-to-day role, I also have the privilege to serve as an executive sponsor of Microsoft’s Blacks@Microsoft (BAM) employee resource group, though my commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion extends to all dimensions of diversity. I’m also committed to my continued learning and community impact as both a board member of the i4CP talent acquisition team, and as a member of the Rework America business network. Prior to leading our Talent Acquisition team, I served as the HR General Manager for Microsoft’s Marketing & Consumer Business where I was able to pair my love for talent management, organizational capability, and storytelling to deliver a best-in-class experience for Microsoft’s customers and curate the end-to-end first and third party device ecosystem to drive business growth. Outside of Microsoft, I have a passion for supporting local charities focused on eradicating hunger, increasing availability of healthcare, and providing strong educational opportunities for communities that wouldn’t otherwise have access. I am an avid supporter of Seattle Children’s Hospital and the Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic which focuses on supporting children with sickle cell disease, like my daughter. As a kidney transplant recipient, I am grateful for each day of good health and to those that give generously through organ donation.
