Leena Joshi is a youth leader, a community builder, and an outspoken advocate for gender equality and climate action. She is an Economics major with a minor in Business Studies. By founding Ethereal Inc., Leena was determined to disrupt the status quo and empower girls by mentoring them. She is an environmental activist, climate and gender justice advocate, and public speaker. Deeply committed to raising awareness about the impacts of climate change on marginalized communities and advocating for policies that prioritize environmental justice, she has worked with a number of organizations, including United Nations, UN Climate Change, World Bank Group, Girl Up United Nations Foundation. Leena’s advocacy work has been recognized both nationally and internationally. She was named GrasshoppHer IT Girl in the 30 Under 30 list for founding her international organisation and was a recipient of the Club of the Year Award by Girl Up, United Nations Foundation. She's also a skilled public speaker and has given talks on climate justice at various events and conferences. She believes in the power of storytelling and uses her platform to share the stories of individuals and communities who are disproportionately impacted by climate change. She's dedicated to creating a more just and sustainable future for all and is excited to continue her work towards this goal.
