I am passionate for shaping the future of healthcare and helping companies steer successfully to bring these novel medicines to all patients with mental health disease and beyond. I was born and raised in a small mountain town in Bulgaria and my family immigrated to the US in 2000. Currently I am a founding member and Managing Parnter of Tabula Rasa Ventures, an accelerator fund focused on redefining and building the future of health. I was recently named top 15 Global Psychedelics Executives by Business Insider. In May 2022, I co-founded the first-ever Medical Psychedelics House of Davos and in January 2023 me and my team will be leading the Davos House of Health. I also founded Biogenesis Ventures in 2020, an advisory practice focusing on strategy and management consulting for start-ups, early growth stage, and investment companies in the biotechnology and healthcare space. I am a seasoned biopharma executive with 10+ years of experience developing and implementing global drug strategy for top pharma companies like Roche, AstraZeneca, Novartis and more. Her expertise bridges the silos in drug development and spans across R&D, clinical trial design, product launch, regulatory affairs, business intelligence, sales, operations and M&A. I hold a degree in BSc Pharmacology from Leeds University and MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise from Cambridge University, where I was a visiting lecturer in 2016.
