His Excellency Omar Al Olama is the United Arab Emirates Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications. By accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence and advanced technologies nationwide, His Excellency plays a major role in the UAE’s digital economy and future growth as a global technology hub. His Excellency is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation and Deputy Managing Director of the Foundation. He is also the Chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy and the Managing Director of the World Government Summit. He has made a significant contribution to the nation’s knowledge-based economy, leading key initiatives such as the UAE Artificial Intelligence Strategy and the Dubai Metaverse Strategy. His Excellency Omar Al Olama became the world’s first Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence when he was appointed in 2017.
