Orla serves as the Chief Executive Officer of The Green Exchange. Prior to this Orla was a partner for the past four years at Sub-Saharan African Venture Capital firm GOODsoil VC, where she backed and led investments at seed and pre-seed into global market-leading fin-tech companies such as Zeepay, Zuberi and Bezomoney. Orla jumpstarted her career by building the app Shortcutt CRM, a customer relationship management app that helps self-employed individuals meticulously manage their finances where she constructed the app from ideation. Following Shortcutt, Orla was a government bond fixed income trader focused on Sub-Saharan African Eurobonds. A bullish leader who is passionate about bringing climate funding to developing countries to decarbonize and deal with the impacts of a warmer planet.
