How do the humans in the business work out the right questions, and some of the right answers, for Tech/Data-enabled Value Generation #innovation in the 2020s if you are NOT actually expert in Data Science, Natural Language Processing, Digital Governance, Consumer Protection, Data Sovereignty, Net Zero ...? Welcome to the world of the Accidental Teccie! Leading, founding, growing and running firms in Financial Services means getting (and keeping) a working knowledge of these technical areas, and many more, as standard, whatever your 'day job' is. My purpose is to support leaders and teams in this endeavour. I do this through my own purposefully-micro firm, Bright Blue Hare. I bring extensive experience from a first career in business building & senior corporate leadership; subject matter expertise & extensive networks in Insurance, InsurTech, FinTech, AI & more; and direct experience of co-founding a specialist consultancy for the MGA/London Markets (GreenKite Associates). I'm passionate about continuing to share, learn & shape thinking: I regularly contribute as a speaker, facilitator, podcaster and chair.
