We are back IN-PERSON!
Join us this year for the biggest DC Startup Week event yet!
We are proud to host our 7th conference from Monday, September 12th to Friday, September 16th.

Events are for everyone- founders at all stages, developers at all levels, community organizers, investors, change-makers, and those working to drive startup growth. If you work at a startup, are thinking about becoming an entrepreneur, or join our community, you cannot miss these events!

DC startup week is the single most exciting event on D CS annual startup calendar. I look forward to it every single year. I deeply appreciate how tailored it is to each stage of the startup life cycle. Ensuring you always know exactly which sessions will provide maximum benefit for you no matter where you are along your journey. I'm especially grateful that the team cares so much about inclusion, whether it be including diverse voices throughout the programming or the continued inclusion of remote and live streamed sessions for those of us who are disabled or immunocompromised. DC is already in the top five for cities in the nation that cares most about diversity and venture capital and DC startup week is definitely leading the way on the charge of inclusion, equity and representation. Thank you so much to the entire team for putting in so much work to put this event on every year and keep it free for everybody. Thank you so much.

It is great to have these in-person events back!
What did you like best about the event?
How well this was organized + content variety. Networking sessions + a great opportunity to meet people from the StartUp ecosystem.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I think everything was very organized. The venue was perfect because it was very close to the Metro Station.

Great networking opportunity, and inspirational speakers.
What did you like best about the event?
The network of people that came out to mingle and the wide variety of speakers.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
There wasn't enough food, coffee, or snacks for people. Directions and parking could have been more clear with signage and a detailed logistics email.

What did you like best about the event?
It was our first time participating in DCSW and we loved meeting all the people we did. The location in SE was SO great and excited to see more done in Ward 7 and 8
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The only thing that during the happy hour was that the volume was too loud! Everything else was great!

What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The only thing I think they might improve would be live streaming more events, and making it clearer on the tech platform how to attend those virtual & live-streamed events. That got a little complex to manage and I heard from several people who wanted to attend my session but weren't able to access the zoom link. Ah, technology! Always causing headaches no matter how meticulously we plan!

Great experience and ecosystem building.
What did you like best about the event?
Variety of sessions for a wide range of company growth stages. Networking during and at the end of events.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Fewer sessions to aggregate people in the same place. Quieter hallways as this disrupted sessions. Source food and resources from the DC ecosystem - put the call out to attendees to provide food, drinks, programming material, etc.
