The SA Innovation Summit is back in-person and online for 2022, and celebrating 15 years as the continent’s largest and most influential tech start-up event.
SAIS2022 will be a constellation of events happening all around Cape Town culminating in a wealth of industry and theme-specific gatherings to bring a new SAIS experience to the City of Cape Town.
It will be a week filled with INNOVATION!

I logged in and could not navigate my way around. I did not know where to go. I left the show after the first 30min.
What did you like best about the event?
I did not spend enough time to have anything to like. It was difficult to sign-in to my account because the links provided directed me to ticket sales instead of the show.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Be more clear on where to log in after purchasing your tickets. And Guidance or highlights to add more interest.
Did you have a favourite speaker or session? Please tell us below
I was annoyed by the time I logged in so I did not want to waist more time.

Capacitate, Innovate and accelerate an excellent forum to drive such!
What did you like best about the event?
Pre-Angel Investor session, Definitely need Angels to get Unicorns, and not forgetting speed dating.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The location was not ideal, teas and coffees were not in sync with program, open pitching as well got lost a bit when crowds gathered for lunch in the open area.

I enjoyed the session on: From Prototype to Commercialization: Derisking the early stage investment space and addressing the missing middle (If you don’t have angels, you can’t get unicorns).

The discourse and networking was amazing
What did you like best about the event?
The event set up, creative spaces. Not too heavy on theory. The conversations were practical
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The catering was below par. I am a vegetarian and the options were very limited. The 3rd-floor venue was a bit of a challenge for the disabled and older delegates
