Our whole team had an amazing time at startup fest. We were able to network with so many startups and entrepreneurs that we had never heard of in the past. And now we are only a couple of days after start at Fest and already looking at collaborative projects that we will both benefit from. So we're really excited to see where those go as well. We got to connect with and network with many different investors both through the investor round tables, one on ones as well as pitching on stage and in front of others. And although we're not looking for investment right now, building out these connections and getting the response that we did and gave us some confidence that over the next year as we are looking to fundraise, we're gonna have everything needed, everything that is needed to proceed, especially these connections to get our foot in the door.

Startup fest was truly transformative. I met some of the most incredible minds in the industry. I was able to witness some of the best pitches ever! I cannot wait to come back next year for more!
What did you like best about the event?
The networking was really important, but I loved seeing multiple entrepreneurs pitch their products.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Better food options maybe! I would have loved to see more menu options for food

What did you like best about the event?
The talks from the speakers were very useful and i liked the creativity of the activities that were planned by the organizers i felt that was very useful and refreshing
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I would say having more organized activities that forced people to talk to one another, as well as more interaction with the speakers and mentors, would have improved it, as well as more vendors i felt like the event was just a little too small

Connections, connections, connections. Whether you're looking to meet investors, startups to collaborate with, or just amazing people then Startup Fest is for you!
What did you like best about the event?
All of the amazing people and the passion they brought to every conversation! We are already working on getting multiple collaborative projects going and now have a Rolodex worth of investor connections.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
A way to connect with attendees ahead of time so we can set up meetings would have been amazing. Similarly, adding this digital portion to the 5 fresh faces idea would allow for easier connection and hopefully more interaction. Secondly, more affordable food would have been great

110% incredible event for the quality of its exchanges and enriching meeting opportunities.
What did you like best about the event?
The quality of the exchanges and the openness of people to discuss via the 5 connections resulting from the algorithm are the two most interesting points.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I would add a little more French to the event as Montreal is not only English speaking.
